01 / The product

A new place for
a brand to land.

A cylindrical punching bag on a short spring and a low, fillable base. A removable stretch sleeve turns the surface into a custom canvas for marketing.

Format 02 / Floor-standing

The booth’s
main attraction.

A freestanding promotional bag that makes a brand part of the experience. Designed for event floors, retail activations and demonstration spaces.

01

A sleeve that changes the story.

Removable, printed stretch fabric with defined artwork templates, seams and retention. Refresh the brand without replacing the bag.

02

A return that feels right.

Spring, attachment and padding developed together for the intended level of promotional interaction in each size.

03

A base built for the setting.

Evaluate sand and water filling, sealing, stability, grip and surface protection. Final capacity and fill guidance follow testing.

The scope boundary

Two cylindrical sizes with a shared visual language and sleeve system. Dimensions, materials, fill weights and spring rates are established during development. Bespoke object-shaped products, electronics, impact scoring and fitness-grade training claims are outside this program.

Your vision / Our starting point

“Put your brand where the punches land.”

The concept already has a strong point of view. This program gives it a repeatable product platform: two sizes, a replaceable branded surface and a practical route to manufacturing.

Your supplied artwork is brand inspiration. The sculpted, object-shaped examples shown are future product possibilities outside this two-cylinder scope. Third-party marks in the artwork do not imply endorsement.

02 / The full development scope

From first sketch
to factory handoff.

A connected program across industrial design, engineering, physical prototypes, brand, packaging and launch preparation. Both sizes move through the process together.

12 steps / Expand for deliverables & approval gates
01Research & product definitionMonth 1

Review comparable promotional products and spring-mounted bags, intended users, interaction settings and commercial priorities. Define the requirements for both sizes before modeling begins.

You receive
Research summary, two-size product definition, preliminary cost targets and an agreed validation plan.
Approval gate
Written approval of intended use and requirements.
02Industrial design & concept refinementMonths 1–2

Approval gate
Sleeve direction and artwork approved for samples.
06Alpha prototypes & hands-on testingMonths 3–4

Build one desktop alpha and one floor-standing alpha. Evaluate scale, stability, rebound, attachment retention, fill leakage and sleeve performance, then collect your real-use feedback.

You receive
Two physical alpha prototypes, initial test findings and a prioritized refinement log.
Approval gate
Alpha findings and the refinement plan agreed.
07Refinements & beta prototypesMonths 4–5

You receive
Technical IP support materials, organized source assets and a final development handoff session.
Approval gate
Deliverables reviewed and remaining production actions recorded. Attorney services and filing fees are separate.

Four physical products.
Two opportunities to learn.

Both formats go through an alpha build, hands-on feedback, refinement and a beta build. The desktop product receives its own development and testing.

4Included units

The included prototypes are development units. Prototype methods and materials may differ from final production; tooling samples and any required third-party testing must confirm production performance. Additional physical units or a new development cycle require an approved change order.

03 / The working plan

A clear path.
Room to get it right.

Design and engineering lead the process. Brand, packaging and website development overlap once the product direction is stable.

4–6months from kickoff to launch-ready handoff

Progress follows approval. Definition → CAD → engineering → alpha findings → beta approval → manufacturing handoff.

An estimate, not a fixed delivery promise. Timing depends on approvals, sourcing and test results. Pauses between phases shift the schedule. Tooling, production and independent certification follow separately.

04 / The investment

The details / In plain language

Clear before
we begin.

The fixed fee covers the defined development program. These boundaries keep scope, budget and expectations aligned.

What is outside the $62,000 fee?
Budget separately for:
  • Production tooling, molds, factory samples, inventory and manufacturing runs.
  • Freight, duties, production logistics and third-party compliance or certification testing.
  • Attorney services, patent filing fees and other legal costs.
  • Website domains, hosting, paid software and third-party subscriptions.
  • Ongoing marketing management, ad spend and services beyond the agreed launch scope or qualifying credit.
  • Extra product prototypes, production sleeve quantities, additional sizes, sculpted shapes, electronics or new development cycles.
  • Trade show space, registration, travel, freight and outside event charges.
How do refinements and changes work?
Design refinements needed to meet the approved requirements are included within the defined concept, alpha, refinement and beta program. The fixed fee includes four physical product prototypes. New requirements, additional physical units or work beyond this scope use a written change order at $145 per hour, approved before work begins.
Is a prototype the same as a production unit?
Prototype processes and materials can differ from production. Alpha units help evaluate architecture and function; beta units improve the design, finish and presentation. Final factory samples, material-specific performance and any required independent testing are confirmed during the separately funded production stage.
Can we make the custom shapes in the artwork?
Those are potential future products. This proposal covers two cylindrical bags with interchangeable printed sleeves. Sculpted forms, brand-specific structural products and additional sizes need their own design, engineering, tooling and quotation.
What does patent support include?
Lime prepares technical disclosure materials, product illustrations and preliminary prior-art research, and coordinates technical questions with your attorney. Your attorney determines patentability, filing strategy and timing. Legal opinions, attorney fees and government filings are outside this development fee.
Can we pause, and how long is pricing valid?
You may pause or stop between phases and keep the completed, paid deliverables. The working schedule moves with any pause. Pricing is valid for 14 days from proposal delivery; a start date is confirmed at kickoff. The optional marketing credit and booth bonus require signature and initial payment within seven days of delivery.
