Prepared for Bags by Design
Concept → launch-readyYour brand.
Built to make
an impact.
Two sizes. One unmistakable experience. Let’s turn Bags by Design into a physical product people can see, touch—and take a swing at.

Two formats. One product family.Concept visualization · dimensions and construction to be developed
01 / The product
A new place for
a brand to land.
A cylindrical punching bag on a short spring and a low, fillable base. A removable stretch sleeve turns the surface into a custom canvas for marketing.
Low, fillable base.
Architecture study · not an engineering drawing or scale specification
Format 02 / Floor-standing
The booth’s
main attraction.
A freestanding promotional bag that makes a brand part of the experience. Designed for event floors, retail activations and demonstration spaces.
Two cylindrical sizes with a shared visual language and sleeve system. Dimensions, materials, fill weights and spring rates are established during development. Bespoke object-shaped products, electronics, impact scoring and fitness-grade training claims are outside this program.
Your vision / Our starting point
“Put your brand where the punches land.”
The concept already has a strong point of view. This program gives it a repeatable product platform: two sizes, a replaceable branded surface and a practical route to manufacturing.
Your supplied artwork is brand inspiration. The sculpted, object-shaped examples shown are future product possibilities outside this two-cylinder scope. Third-party marks in the artwork do not imply endorsement.

02 / The full development scope
From first sketch
to factory handoff.
A connected program across industrial design, engineering, physical prototypes, brand, packaging and launch preparation. Both sizes move through the process together.
01Research & product definitionMonth 1
Review comparable promotional products and spring-mounted bags, intended users, interaction settings and commercial priorities. Define the requirements for both sizes before modeling begins.
- You receive
- Research summary, two-size product definition, preliminary cost targets and an agreed validation plan.
- Approval gate
- Written approval of intended use and requirements.
02Industrial design & concept refinementMonths 1–2
Develop the bag proportions, low-base silhouette, spring integration and shared family appearance. Consider storage, filling, assembly and the areas available for graphics.
- You receive
- Concept studies and a refined, approved direction for the desktop and floor-standing formats.
- Approval gate
- Both design directions approved before detailed CAD.
033D CAD & product architectureMonths 1–2
Model each assembly: base and fill port, support interfaces, short spring, padded cylinder, sleeve fit and retention. Identify shared components where they make functional and commercial sense.
- You receive
- Assembly CAD for each size, component breakdowns and design review views.
- Approval gate
- Geometry and component architecture approved.
04Mechanical engineering & DFMMonths 2–3
Engineer stability, rebound, spring attachment, padding and pinch protection. Assess base sealing, material choices, assembly and manufacturing processes against the approved requirements.
- You receive
- Engineering CAD, initial bill of materials, manufacturing recommendations and a documented test plan.
- Approval gate
- Engineering released for alpha prototyping.
05Custom sleeve & print systemMonths 2–3
Develop stretch-fabric selection, sewing pattern, print layout, access and retention. Evaluate graphic distortion, seam placement, abrasion and repeated sleeve changes.
- You receive
- Sleeve pattern and artwork template for each size, print and material specifications, and branded sleeves on the included prototypes.
- Approval gate
- Sleeve direction and artwork approved for samples.
06Alpha prototypes & hands-on testingMonths 3–4
Build one desktop alpha and one floor-standing alpha. Evaluate scale, stability, rebound, attachment retention, fill leakage and sleeve performance, then collect your real-use feedback.
- You receive
- Two physical alpha prototypes, initial test findings and a prioritized refinement log.
- Approval gate
- Alpha findings and the refinement plan agreed.
07Refinements & beta prototypesMonths 4–5
Refine both products from alpha feedback, then build one beta of each size. Improve finish and presentation while checking the agreed performance requirements and recording remaining production-stage validation.
- You receive
- Two physical beta prototypes with branded sleeves, updated CAD, test results and documented limitations.
- Approval gate
- Beta review and product design approval.
08Brand identity & product storytellingMonths 4–5
Refine the Bags by Design identity from your existing name and direction. Develop the color, type, graphic and messaging system across the two products and their sales materials.
- You receive
- Brand guide, logo assets, product renderings and core product messaging.
- Approval gate
- Brand system and product narrative approved.
09Packaging & unboxingMonths 4–5
Design a packaging solution for each size, including product protection, assembly and fill guidance, sleeve-change instructions and a coherent branded unboxing.
- You receive
- Packaging artwork, dielines and specifications, plus one physical packaging prototype for each size.
- Approval gate
- Packaging fit, instructions and artwork approved.
10Product website & launch contentMonths 4–5
Design and build a responsive product website explaining both formats and the customizable sleeve system, with a clear inquiry path. Prepare the initial product content for outreach and sales.
- You receive
- One product website, both size presentations, inquiry setup, basic on-page SEO, a product sell sheet and initial listing copy.
- Approval gate
- Content and site approved for launch. Ongoing hosting and subscriptions are separate.
11Manufacturing package & supplier quotesMonths 5–6
Prepare the factory handoff for both sizes and obtain suitable U.S. and international supplier options where available. Compare tooling, minimum order quantities, unit costs, lead times and quality requirements.
- You receive
- Native CAD and STEP files, technical drawings, final BOM, material and sleeve specifications, QC criteria, supplier quotations and a comparison review.
- Approval gate
- Handoff review and supplier selection. Manufacturing purchases are quoted separately.
12IP support & launch handoffThroughout / Months 5–6 handoff
Support your attorney with technical disclosure, product illustrations and preliminary prior-art research. Organize project source files, supplier introductions and the recommended next steps for production and launch.
- You receive
- Technical IP support materials, organized source assets and a final development handoff session.
- Approval gate
- Deliverables reviewed and remaining production actions recorded. Attorney services and filing fees are separate.
The included prototypes are development units. Prototype methods and materials may differ from final production; tooling samples and any required third-party testing must confirm production performance. Additional physical units or a new development cycle require an approved change order.
03 / The working plan
A clear path.
Room to get it right.
Design and engineering lead the process. Brand, packaging and website development overlap once the product direction is stable.
Progress follows approval. Definition → CAD → engineering → alpha findings → beta approval → manufacturing handoff.
An estimate, not a fixed delivery promise. Timing depends on approvals, sourcing and test results. Pauses between phases shift the schedule. Tooling, production and independent certification follow separately.
04 / The investment
Both sizes.
One complete program.
USD / Combined fixed development fee
$24,800
On signature. Reserves the team and begins the program.
$12,400
At the start of alpha prototype development.
$12,400
At the start of refinements, after alpha testing.
$12,400
At the start of beta prototype development.
Four milestone payments total $62,000. The final payment is due at the start of beta, before all final deliverables are completed. Production expenses and other exclusions below are additional.
Development work for both sizes stays inside one agreed scope, with a shared review process and an accountable project team.
Let’s discuss the programA head start on launch / Seven-day decision bonus
